Cookie policy

The Service does not automatically collect any information except for information contained in cookie files.

Cookie files (the so-called “cookies”) are IT data, in particular text files, which are stored in the end device of Service User and are intended to use the websites of the Service. Cookies usually contain the name of the website they originate from, time of their storage on the end device and a unique number.

The entity placing cookies on the end device of Service User and obtaining access to them is the Service operator marcon-avista.com.pl

The cookies are used to:

adjust the content of the Service websites to the User’s preferences and optimise the use of the websites; in particular, these files allow recognising the Service User’s device and displaying the website properly, adapted to his or her individual needs;

create statistics which help to understand how Service Users use the websites, which allows improving their structure and content;

maintain the Service User’s session (after logging in), thanks to which the User does not have to enter the login and password again on each sub-page of the Service;

The Service uses two basic types of cookie files: session cookies and persistent cookies. The session cookies are temporary files that are stored on the User’s end device until logging out, leaving the website or shutting down a software (Internet browser).  Persistent cookies are stored on the User’s end device for a period of time specified in the parameters of cookies or until they are deleted by the User.

The Service uses the following types of cookie files:

“necessary” cookie files, enabling the use of services available within the Service, e.g. authenticating cookie files used for services requiring authentication within the Service;

safety cookies used to ensure security, e.g. used to detect abuse in the authentication within the Service;

“performance” cookies, enabling the collection of information on the use of the websites of the Service;

“functional” cookies, enabling “remembering” the settings selected by the User and personalisation of User interface, e.g. in terms of selected language or region where the User comes from, font size, appearance of the website etc.;

In many cases, the web browsing software (Internet browser) by default allows cookies to be stored in the User’s end device. Service Users may change the cookie-related settings any time. These settings may be changed in particular in such a way as to block the automatic support of cookies in the settings of the Internet browser or inform about them each time they are placed in the device of Service User. Details on possibilities and ways of operating cookies are available in software (Internet browser) settings.

The Service operator informs that limitations as to the use of cookies may influence some functionalities available on the websites of the Service.

Cookies placed in the end device of Service User may also be used by advertisers and partners cooperating with the Service operator.

More information on cookies can be found in “Help” section in the Internet browser menu.
